Announcing John Gauntner’s
Sake 2020 Event with Tenryo
to be held at the JSS Information Center, May 25, 7pm~9pm

On the evening of Thursday, May 25, from 7:00pm to 9:00pm, the Sake2020 project will host the sixth Sake Salon series with Gifu Prefecture kuramoto Matasuke Uenoda, the current 9th generation kuramoto of Tenryo Shuzo, brewers of the sake of the same name. It will be again held at the Japan Sake and Shochu Producers Information Center in Toranomon.

Gifu is a mountainous area, which means it is blessed with plenty of clean natural water. Tenryo-shuzo makes their sake from such water, which is super-soft, and thereby characterizes the nature of their sake. The participation fee is ¥5000. See this page for more information, and to make a reservation and purchase a ticket. A light meal will be served with the sake.

Note, participation is limited to 20 people. By all means, secure your seat soon!

Hope to see you there! John Gauntner
